Meet Ashley Spitzer, MSSA, LISW-S
Licensed Therapist

Ashley practices as a clinical mental health & chemical dependency therapist with more than 14 years of clinical experience. 

Ashley received her master’s in clinical social work from The Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. She works with children, adolescents and adults providing individual, family, and group therapy. 

She gained her experience working in residential treatment centers, acute psychiatric hospitals, in-home treatment and outpatient settings. She has specialized training in crisis and trauma models and dual diagnosis treatment. In her practice, Ashley utilizes a variety of clinical techniques and models, which include cognitive-behavioral treatment and psychodynamic treatment. 

Areas of specialty include: chemical dependency, eating disorders, HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ, mood disorders, grief and loss, lying, stealing, depression, anxiety, anger management, communication disorders, bullying, attention and social skills deficits.

Ashley is currently a PhD candidate Developmental and Child Psychology.
